Welcome to vHistory, the online site for Professor Brian Vagts. Please forgive the crude nature of the site currently.

There are currently three things that may be of interest:

• My current CV
• A collection of resources related to the use of spatial technologies such as GIS in history classes. This includes links to some projects created or edited by me, most hosted with a NVCC associated service
• An Open Educational Resource (OER) i.e. freely available online textbook suitable for use in college level survey Western Civilization classes. This was not created by me, but I am a few others have adapted it to a more accessible format than it was originally available in.

The views reflected in this webpage do not necessarily reflect that of Northern Virginia Community College. This page is created independently of NVCC guidance and funding.
